Millions Worldwide March in Youth-Led Climate Strike
Inspired by a 16-year-old environmental activist from Sweden named Greta Thunberg, millions of people — many of them students — took to the streets on Friday to demand action on climate change.
#ClimateStrike events reportedly took place in 150 countries, with more than 5,000 total events. Another strike is scheduled for Sept. 27.
Below are some images of the youth-led demonstrations that took place in California.
