California’s Best Small Cities

WalletHub is out with another list and we like this one because it focused on cities with a population of 25,000 to 100,000.

“In order to determine the best small cities in America, WalletHub compared 1,268 cities across five key dimensions: 1) Affordability, 2) Economic Health, 3) Education & Health, 4) Quality of Life and 5) Safety,” WalletHub reports.

Evaluations were based on 42 metrics, including household income; housing costs; population growth; job growth; credit scores; poverty; graduation rates; commute times; amenities; and crime rates.

These were the 10 best small cities in California with their respective scores:

1. Los Altos (68.55)

2. Pleasanton (68.45)

3. Palo Alto (67.42)

4. Dublin (67.28)

5. Saratoga (67)

6. Milpitas (66.47)

7. Newport Beach (66.39)

8. Foster City (66.15)

9. Livermore (66.14)

10. Danville (66.09)
