Dana Point City Manager Steps Down for Job in Fontana

Dana Point City Manager Mark Denny will step down on April 3rd. His resignation was accepted during a last minute special council session last month. He has accepted the same job in Fontana, according to the Orange County Register.

Patch News Service reports that the Dan Point City Council voted to appoint Assistant City Manager Mike Killebrew to lead the city. He has worked for Dana Point for over 12 years.

Denny has held the top administrator position in Dana Point since 2017. He was previously deputy city manager and oversaw public works for the city.
