Eureka City Manager Placed on Leave

After a noticeable absence during the coronavirus pandemic, Eureka City Manager Dean Lotter has been placed on administrative leave.

The City Council announced the news Friday. City Clerk Pam Powell is now serving as Acting City Manager. The reason behind the city’s decision is not publicly known.

Dean Lotter has served as Eureka's top administrator for the past six months. He previously served as city manager of New Brighton, Minnesota.
