
Torrance’s Interim City Manager to Take Permanent Spot
Aram Chaparyan has been serving as Torrance’s interim city manager since August 5. Effective October 1, that title will become permanent.
The City Council approved Chaparyan’s promotion on August 25. He will earn a base salary of $283,404 per year.
Chaparyan has served as deputy city manager since 2017. He will now succeed LeRoy Jackson, who is set to retire at the end of this month after more 37 years in that position.
