Arrests Made in Connection with Missing L.A. Firefighter

Two individuals have been arrested in connection with the disappearance of Los Angeles City firefighter Frank Aguilar.

Aguilar went missing in August while vacationing in Rosarito, Mexico. Authorities there say the two suspects, a man and woman, were the last people to be seen with him. They were in possession of his credit card when they were apprehended.

Aguilar’s disappearance is believed to have been the result of an attempted kidnapping. Blood was found at the scene.

Aguilar’s daughter Amaris still holds out hope that her father is alive. Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti said city officials have been working tirelessly with Mexican authorities to help bring Aguilar home.
