Four California Cities Will Up The Minimum Wage Next Year

Workers in Daly City, Novato, Redwood City, and Sunnyvale will all see an increase in the minimum wage next year.

On January 1, the minimum wage in Daly City will rise to $15 per hour. Right now, it is $13.75.

In Novato, businesses with 100 employees will have to pay at least $15.24 an hour. Businesses with 26-99 employees must pay $15 per hour. The minimum will be $14 per hour for small businesses with 1-25 employees.

On January 1, Redwood City’s minimum wage will increase to $15.62 per hour.

Sunnyvale workers will see a floor of $16.30 per hour as of January 1. Currently, Sunnyvale’s minimum wage is $16.05. Read more from Bloomberg.
