San Jose City Manager Selects New Deputy Administrators

San Jose has welcomed two new deputy city managers.

Rosalynn Hughey and Lee Wilcox are familiar faces. Hughey has worked for the City of San Jose for six years, most recently as Director of the Planning, Building, and Code Enforcement Department (PBCE). Wilcox is the current Director of the City Manager’s Office of Administration, Policy, and Intergovernmental Relations as well as the City Manager’s Chief of Staff. He’s been with the city for 15 years and has served in his current role for three of them.

Hughey and Wilcox’s promotions followed a nationwide recruitment effort.

“The challenges we face as a city have significantly changed over the past year, and I am confident that Rosalynn and Lee are uniquely equipped to help us fight COVID, recover economically, and heal as a community,” said City Manager David Sykes.
