Former Sonoma Mayor Accuses Dominic Foppoli of Sexual Assault

Another woman has come forward with allegations of sexual misconduct against Windsor Mayor Dominic Foppoli. The latest accuser is herself a former mayor.

Rachel Hundley, who served on the Sonoma City Council from 2014 to 2021 and as mayor in 2017, told the San Francisco Chronicle that Foppoli climbed on top of her and exposed his penis in 2015.

“His exposure to me was absolutely nonconsensual and unwanted,” she said.

Hundley is one of several women who have accused Foppoli of sexual misconduct, including rape or sexual assault. The list of accusers includes a former deputy district attorney.

Foppoli has refused to resign despite calls from multiple mayors and other public officials, the League of California Cities, and his own brother. A law enforcement investigation is ongoing and a recall effort underway. The town of Windsor has also requested that the Grand Jury examine the allegations against Foppoli.
