Grand Terrace City Manager Leaving for Oakland

Grand Terrace City Manager G. Harold Duffy is leaving to become the head of Oakland's Public Works Department. Duffy will start his new job July 26.

“I’m very excited to join the Oakland City Executive Team,” said Duffy. He said he looks forward to his new position.

Duffy has worked in the public sector for more than three decades. He has worked for Yolo County and San Bernardino County as well as the cities of Sacramento, Compton, Oroville, and Riverside.

Grand Terrace Planning and Development Director Stephen Weiss has been selected as interim city manager. He will assume that position on July 21.
