The Funnest Places to Live in America

After a year of lockdowns and social distancing, Americans are ready for some fun. Those of us in California are in luck, according to U.S. News and World Report. That’s because 6 out of the 30 funnest places to live in the U.S. are right here in the Golden State.

San Diego and San Francisco took the top two spots on U.S. News & World Report’s list of the funnest places to live. They were followed by Portland, OR; Seattle, WA; and Nashville, TN.

These were the six California locales to make the list:

  1. San Diego (#1)
  2. San Francisco (#2)
  3. Los Angeles (#7)
  4. Santa Rosa (#10)
  5. Sacramento (#24)
  6. Fresno (#26)

U.S. News & World Report looked at parks and recreation facilities, cultural attractions, dining, professional sports teams, shopping, nightlife, concerts, and flight destination popularity.
