Lincoln Hires Riverbank City Manager Sean Scully

The City of Lincoln in Placer County has chosen a successor for Jennifer Hanson, who stepped down in May. The city council is expected to approve a contract with Riverbank City Manager Sean Scully at its meeting on Dec. 14.

Scully has been with Riverbank since 2017. He was previously the city manager for Gustine and spent three years working for Turlock. He earned his bachelor’s degree from California State University at Monterey Bay and a master’s degree in public administration from California State University at Stanislaus.

Mayor Alyssa Silhi called Scully “a good fit for the community” and someone “who has the potential to serve the city of Lincoln for a long time.”

Scully will take over for Mark Scott, who has been serving as interim city manager since Jennifer Hanson’s departure.
