The Orange City Council has accepted the resignation of Rob Houston just seven months after he was appointed City Manager.
Houston’s departure was announced Tuesday, October 11. The City Attorney said the Council had had voted 5-2 to accept Houston’s resignation during closed session. No further information was forthcoming.
The council unanimously approved Houston’s three-year contract on March 8. His official start date was March 14. Houston had previously managed the City of Fountain Valley.
