New Jersey Councilwoman Gunned Down Outside Her Home

A horrific act of violence has claimed the life of a city councilwoman from Sayreville, New Jersey.

Eunice Dwumfour was shot and killed in a vehicle outside her home Wednesday night. Police say she suffered multiple gunshot wounds and appears to have been targeted.

Dwumfour, a Republican, has served on the Sayreville City Council since 2021.
