The ideal candidate has the ability to gain respect from senior management through experience, knowledge, and education, and will provide meaningful input on the process and delivery methods across several departments. Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration or a related field, and five (5) years of increasingly responsible administrative or management experience in a municipal or government administration. A Master’s degree in Public or Business Administration or a related field may be substituted for one year of required experience. The annual salary range for the Assistant City Manager is $182,582.40 to $238,784.00. Placement within this range is dependent on qualifications and experience.
