The Town of Los Gatos (pop. 33,000) is situated within the largest metropolitan area of northern California and is closely tied to Silicon Valley. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and team player with strong leadership and management abilities. Excellent administrative and communication skills, sound financial acumen, a record of innovative problem-solving, and experience partnering in multi-departmental efforts and effectively working across all disciplines are essential for success in this role. Competitive candidates will offer progressively responsible experience with at least eight years of management/supervisory experience in local government administration. Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree desirable. Candidates with public sector backgrounds or a combination of public and private sector experience are encouraged to apply.
