The City of Dunsmuir, California, is seeking its next City Manager who is a pillar of the community, upholds the mission and priorities of the City Council, and develops winning strategies to meet the needs of a developing community. The City Manager will be an experienced public administrator, well-grounded in meeting the needs of the community they serve, economic development, budget oversight, staff leadership, and employee and community relations.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of serving small communities that have a set vision and goal for the development of their services and economy. They will be external facing, hardworking, have a passion for serving the public and providing strong municipal governance, economic development, and interested in becoming part of the community through community engagement and relationship building.
