The Ideal Candidate
The ideal Communications & Civic Engagement Manager will have the ability to exercise their innovative ideas and savvy technology skills by creating and integrating a comprehensive communication strategy. The ideal candidate will be able to collaboratively engage the community, staff, and business partners to effectively communicate expectations for City services and government transparency. The candidate will have the unique opportunity to bring the City to the forefront of utilizing social media, civic engagement and creative marketing programs to enhance the community experience.
Education/Training/Experience:
- Five years of increasingly responsible public information, media relations experience or public affairs leadership role is required.
- A Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, marketing, public administration or a related field may be substituted for up to two (2) years of experience.
- Experience performing public relations in a municipality is preferred.

Annual Compensation: $133,308.00 - $174,924.00
