We have an opening for the position of Deputy Director of Economic Development in our City Managers Department/Economic Development Division. Under administrative direction, directs, manages, supervises, and coordinates the activities and operations relating to Economic Development within the City Manager's Office; coordinates assigned activities with other divisions, departments, outside agencies, and business organizations; and provides highly responsible and complex administrative support to the City Manager.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education/Training:
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in planning, public administration, business administration, economics, or a related field. A Master's degree is desirable.
Five years of increasingly responsible professional experience in economic development and planning including two years of administrative and supervisory or project management responsibility.
License or Certificate:
Possession of a valid, appropriate driver's license
