is looking for a Deputy Fire Chief
to oversee the department’s daily operations. This is a newly created position to assist with the administration, operations, safety, employee and union relations, and staff development of the Fire Department. The Deputy Fire Chief should have experience with labor and employee relations, policy and procedures, organizational and strategic planning, employee training and development, workplace safety, risk management, fire safety operations, budget development and oversight, and risk management. The successful candidate will have a history of thinking beyond bureaucracy, enthusiastically seek collaboration and community engagement, and provide excellence in service and programs.
