Reporting to the Assistant Director for Planning and Zoning, this position is one of two Deputy Zoning Administrators and is primarily focused on daily team operations and leading interdepartmental teams in the development review process.

This action-oriented planning professional will be a self-starter who embraces opportunities to assist or lead process improvements to procedures or systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical planning knowledge, excellent judgment, organizational, and decision-making skills.
Successful candidates will have four years of professional planning experience with at least one year performing duties comparable to a Senior Planner in Mountain View. Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s may substitute for one year experience. Supervisory experience and AICP preferred.
