Salary: $143,062 - $222,893* (DOQ/DOE)
*Plus, an additional 3% Management Incentive Pay AND 11% salary increase (pending City Council approval on October 25, 2022)

The City of Irvine is looking for a special individual to serve as the next Director of Administrative Services. The Director will oversee the City’s Finance and Information Technology  Divisions. Reporting to the City Manager, the successful candidate will be tasked with the awesome responsibility of overseeing a tremendously talented staff of 51 people and a departmental operating budget of approximately $30.1 million.

The Director of Administrative Services will oversee the Department of Administrative Services functions, including payroll, finance and accounting, treasury, budget, purchasing, and information technology services. The Director reports to the City Manager and serves as a critical member of the City’s executive management team while overseeing the Finance Commission, 51 staff, and an approximate combined IT and Finance budget of $30.1 million. The Director will set forth policies and procedures to improve the Department’s services while serving as a positive and uplifting leader to their team. They will be a well-seasoned finance professional who can also take on overseeing the IT functions of the Department.
