Annual Salary  $163,581—$197,320 

* Future Increases: July 2024 = 4%; July 2025 = 3%


San Joaquin County is recruiting a Director of the Emergency Operations Director to develop, manage, and administer the staff, programs, budgets, and operations of the San Joaquin County's Office of Emergency Services. Working with the Chair of the Board of Supervisors, you will lead the County’s disaster and emergency response, working with various organizations in the County to ensure an effective and efficient response to local, state, and national emergencies. The Director will serve as the primary County official responsible for ensuring the safety and resilience of our community during times of crisis. Your expertise and leadership will shape emergency response plans, coordinate resources, and effectively manage our Emergency Operations Center (EOC).
