The Director of Performance and Data Analytics will work with the City Manager to establish a comprehensive, integrated performance management program for the City that includes design and development of performance management agreements, Citistat program, and an Innovation Laboratory focused on streamlining municipal processes. The intent of the program is to have a cumulative impact of delivering better, faster, and smarter services. The ideal candidate will serve as the point of contact for all innovation projects and enhancing processes for analyzing City of Stockton data. The incumbent will be part of a great team and a vital partner for the achievement of the City Manager's and City Council's goals to revitalize the City.
Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in economics, applied mathematics, public administration or public policy; AND four (4) years of professional experience in performance management, program development and evaluation, process improvement, and staff development. Possession of a master's degree is highly desirable.
