The Los Angeles Unified strike has entered its third and final day without resolution. Support staff will return to campuses Friday, welcoming students back after a three-day hiatus.
This recruitment is to fill one vacancy and establish an eligibility list which may be used for future vacancies.
The ideal candidate will have a thorough working knowledge of heavy duty truck and automotive repair, with experience in both diagnostics and repair of gasoline and diesel engines. They will have a minimum of four years journeyman level work in electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brakes and fuel systems. An associates degree in automotive or diesel technology form an accredited college or trade school is highly desired. have experience in computer skills used for job tracking, email and timekeeping. they will have a valid California class C drivers license with the ability to obtain a class A license within their first year of hire.
