The County of Santa Barbara, Office of the Auditor-Controller, seeks two Financial Systems Analysts I who have a solid background in technology, finance, accounting, and economics and experience in gathering and presenting data, to support the County’s financial accounting and ERP systems. The Auditor-Controller’s Office is one of the most innovative, efficient, and effective departments in local government. The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking and creative professional who is highly ethical and has strong moral values. They will have a strong understanding of relational database concepts and design, along with enterprise resource planning systems. This successful candidate will be skilled at explaining and summarizing technical information to non-technical people and have an eagerness to learn new technical skills and accounting concepts. Having a passion for using data and technology to solve organizational problems is essential, as is being an excellent communicator, documenter, and team player.
