Calaveras Public Utility District (CPUD) is seeking a General Manager who is an effective leader, a proven manager, and a collaborative individual with exceptional interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will be forward thinking, creative, and an innovative problem solver who is receptive to new ideas and has the ability to build and inspire the confidence of strong teams. Any combination of education and experience which would likely provide the necessary knowledge and abilities is qualifying. The typical candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university and will have had board and extensive work experience in management or administration positions in a public agency, requiring the responsibility for the formulation and implementation of programs, budgets, and administrative operations with at least two (2) years’ experience in a management or supervisory capacity. The annual salary range for the General Manager is dependent upon the qualifications and experience of the selected individual.
