SALARY: Negotiable, City of McFarland is a non PERS agency. Retired PERS Annuitants would receive the City Salary, Plus monthly PERS retirement pay.
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration or a closely related field and at least 1 year of broad and extensive experience involving administration and management of government finances and municipal projects and programs, OR any combination of education and/or experience which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities required.
Master’s degree in accounting, Finance or Business Administration or a closely related field.
3 years of broad and extensive experience involving administration and management of government finances and municipal projects and programs.

DUTIES: Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, utility billing, coordinates finance and accounting, budget, fund accounting. Reconciliation of cash, accruals, and deferrals.
The background evaluation will assess overall suitability for the employment the finance Director. Candidates must be found satisfactory in all aspects of the background evaluation.
