A dedicated professional who establishes positive working relationships with the various City departments, residents, and community partners will be valued. The successful candidate will be an experienced individual with knowledge of legislative affairs and be able to flourish in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must possess extensive experience in communications management in the public sector which has led to the acquisition of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Qualifying education and experience is a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in public relations, communications, journalism, or a related field; and five (5) years of professional experience in development and execution of public relations, communications, legislative, or marketing programs. Multilingual is highly desirable.
The annual salary range for the Public Relations & Legislative Affairs Manager is $116,728.20 - $141,897.84; placement within this range is dependent on qualifications and experience.
