The Port is seeking a Deputy General Counsel IV or V to work on a variety of matters with a focus on real estate transactions. This senior-level attorney will oversee the Port’s legal aspects of discrete real estate transactions and should have superb negotiation and analytical skills to draft and negotiate the terms and conditions of real estate documents, including, but not limited to leases, ground leases, short-term leases, and real estate finance documents. Much of the Port’s revenue is generated through the Port’s real estate portfolio: hotels, marina, shipyards, restaurants, and specialty retail, requiring a good deal of tenant management and transactions related to that work.
