The City of Ventura Water Department is now accepting applications for the position of Senior Laboratory Analyst. The Senior Laboratory Analyst is responsible for leading and participating in the performance of chemical, physical, biological, and microbiological analyses of potable water, wastewater, industrial waste, storm water, receiving waters, and other environmental samples. Salary and Benefits
The City offers a total compensation package that includes both a generous salary plus excellent benefit! Salary: 73,356 - $89,165 Annually DOQ.
A combination of education and experience equivalent to an associate degree in a related field and four years of full-time laboratory analysis experience; or bachelor's degree in a related field and three years of full-time laboratory analysis experience. License: Possession of a valid California Class C driver's license and an acceptable driving record is required. Certificate: Possession of, or ability to obtain, a California Water Environment Association Laboratory Analyst II certification within 12 months of hire.
