Vallejo Interim City Manager Anne Cardwell has announced she’s leaving the city less than two months into her appointment.
Greg Nyhoff will get nearly $600,000 as part of the split.
Vallejo spokeswoman Christina Lee said the department faces “a crisis of legitimacy and trust” amid rising crime rates and an avalanche of police misconduct allegations.
The warning coincides with serious allegations by a Vallejo PD employee.
